Year of Sheep is coming - Grocery Shopping／羊年來了 - 辦年貨 (Emeryville)

On a sunny day, the children (4.5 years old and above) in the Chinese Program went for an outing - Chinese New Year Grocery Shopping.  

在陽光燦爛的一天，Emeryville 中文組四歲半以上的小朋友們去辦年貨。

We first decided what food we were going to make and then lao-shi helped us to come up with the list of ingredients that we needed to shop for.
我們首先要決定做什麼樣的新年食物，然後張老師幫我們寫了一個原料清單。

We are going to make Lv Da Gun and Tang Yuan, so on our list, we need to buy glutinous rice powder, soybean powder and red bean paste, etc.
我們準備做驢打滾和湯圓，所以我們需要買糯米粉、黃豆粉、紅豆沙等原料。

After getting everything we need for our food making, each of us also got to buy some New Year treats for ourselves and our family. 

  我們採購完所有清單上的原料後，每個人還能給自己和家人辦一些年貨。

The cashier spoke with us in Chinese and helped us with our shopping. We said "xie xie" to her.
收銀員用中文跟我們說話，幫我們算錢，我們非常感謝她。

We also want to thank the parents who drove us to and from the market. Without your help, our outing would not be possible.

我們還想謝謝帶我們辦年貨的家長們，如果不是你們開車接送我們，我們根本不可能去超市辦年貨。
