Back to School Night: San Mateo

Dear CH Parents,

Thank you so much to those of you who attended the Children's House Back to School Night on Wednesday evening. It was wonderful to see you once again, and we hope the information and ideas exchanged for the coming school year prove beneficial to us all.

We would like to take this opportunity to reiterate some key points covered. All of this information and more is delineated in detail in the Parents’ Handbook 2013-2014. Please sign and return the Handbook Agreement (found on the last page of the Parents’ Handbook 2013-2014) by the first day of school.
  • After reviewing the Environment Working Group's website, we have determined that the preferred sunscreens for the Children's House children are either Badger or California Baby. Please bring one of these in for your child.
  • Drop-off procedures - you may either stay in your car as your child is collected during drop-off, or you may accompany your child to the back door of school (not into the hallway), where a parent volunteer or guide will collect him/her and bring him/her to their environment. All carpool procedures are found on page 37 of the Parent Handbook. You can download the Parent Handbook 2013-2014 here: http://www.pacificriminternationalschool.org/parent-community/forms-downloads.html
  • As a reminder, attendance at a minimum of four CINs will be a requirement for participation in the End of the Year dinner for Children's House parents.
Thank you all for your cooperation and collaboration this year. Thank you again to those parents who attended our Back-to-School night. We look forward to a joyful and fruitful year!

Regards,
PRINTS Management and CH Teams
