The First Day of School: San Mateo

We have returned for the 2013-2014 School Year! The first day has commenced, the children, students, guides, and teachers are thrilled, and we are all looking forward to an illuminating year.

All is business as usual in the Infant Community and the Children's House....

The children have found beloved activities and received some new lessons... The classrooms are bustling!

As the children arrive with their belongings, they are shown where they can put everything away.

They also practice greeting their teachers!

 The children have found activities they love, that they can practice by themselves... or with a friend.

The Elementary and Erdkinder classes have plunged right into group discussions and lessons. Students have arrived with all their back to school supplies.

The morning meeting has taken place...

...and lessons and work have begun in earnest!

What a wonderful way to start the year!
