A Day in the Life: Grandparents Day in Emeryville

We were so excited to share the poems and songs we had learned in English, Chinese, and Japanese with our grandparents! Everyone laughed at the "Banana Song" we sang in Japanese.

We worked hard to make pumpkin muffins with pumpkin from our garden. Our "big brother" from Elementary helped us serve the muffins to our guests.

We were proud to offer our grandparents the treats we baked.

After our Grandparents Day celebration was over, we wanted to hold onto the feeling that the day was special, so we set a long table with tablecloths and learned a fancier way to fold our napkins for lunch.
